Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Lap Times (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Licence to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Lap Times on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
This licence does not permit you to:
- Distribute, sublicense, or sell the App or any copy of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
Formula 1 Data & Trademarks
Lap Times displays Formula 1 timing and session data. Lap Times is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, Formula One Management Ltd, the FIA, or any Formula 1 team.
Formula 1, F1, and all related logos and marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V. Team names, driver names, and livery colours are the property of their respective owners. Lap Times does not claim any rights over these trademarks.
Timing data is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App in any way that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempts to gain unauthorised access to our servers or data feed
- Scrapes, harvests, or systematically extracts data from the App or its backend
- Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the App
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any data displayed will be accurate, complete, or up to date
- The App will be available at any particular time or location
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Updates & Termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
